Through and through, I've met and lost many people throughout my life- both in family and friends. The amalgamation of these experiences resulted in me creating a character who has encountered similar companions, keeping few yet losing many. Putting up the missing posters is an acknowledgement of those whose presence was now lost from his life, an acknowledgement of any conflicts that went unresolved, an acknowledgement that he wished he could have done better when he had the chance. The wall represents all my past faults, all the mistakes I long to mend but will never be able to. The warmth of the piece contrasts that of the darkness of it; despite all I’ve lost, these experiences will serve as a learning experience for me- as a reminder to never take what I have for granted and to appreciate those in my life while they’re still with me.

Creativity is refers to imagination- an outlet for self expression. It's my way of escaping reality, a means for my ideas and a way for me to explain my own feelings, experiences, and actions without words. Creativity is my access point to my own mind and worlds yet to exist.
