• Artist Statement

  This is a classic jazz piece written by Erroll Garner, however it was done in the style of Ella Fitzgerald. It is a beautiful piece and very special to me because I relate to the piece very often. Me and my friend Arvind rehearsed this piece a ton and it went through many different versions, but I knew I wanted to do this piece because it felt right and I wanted to do this song justice.

• Creative Statement

  Creativity to me means creating. Whether that be putting your own spin on something already made, or completely making something original, nothing makes it less creative. It means taking something and making it your own.
