• Artist Statement

  A track runner pushes himself to the brink of failure in an attempt to become a college athlete. The movie focuses on themes including, fear of insufficency and feelings of pressure to perform in high school sports.

• Creative Statement

  Creativity is opening up ideas to the world. It is about coming alive by saying new things. I began creating stories with my brother. Against the backdrop of Northern California’s landscapes, we would imagine fantastical tales. I learned creativity is about making dreams come alive.
