• Artist Statement

  My film is a documentary that spotlights “The Trash Punx” a non-profit organization that is trying to make a difference in our community by removing the trash that is left in our creeks, parks and neighborhoods. They make litter pick up events fun and their goal is to encourage others to join them. My desire for this film is to motivate people to get more involved in their communities. Choose something that has meaning to you whether it’s the environment, animals, education or whatever and go volunteer! You’ll be amazed at how great it feels to do something beyond yourself by serving others.

• Creative Statement

  Creativity to me means doing something different and using my imagination while being true to myself. I am creative by nature and I use film as my medium of self expression.
