This piece is a reflection of extreme global industrialization and the effect it has on the younger generation. An immense pressure has been put on the youth of today to try and combat the effects of climate change that are a direct result of choices made by the generations before us. We carry a sense of hopelessness with us, for when we look to the future the world we are inheriting is built on profit and production at the expense of the destruction of our home. Young people are witnessing, first-hand, the consequences of extreme industrialization, and from it comes a fear of the environmental cataclysm that seems to have become inevitable. And although this is a heavy burden to carry, we have no choice but to take up this responsibility as the future of our planet lies in our hands.

I would not be myself without creativity. Creativity is self expression, an outlet for me to pour myself, my passions, interests, and emotions into. Creativity is an integral part of my life and I believe it impacts the Ives of all humans whether intentionally or not.
