I dedicate this collection of three poems is for whoever needs it, which is why I considered calling it "Poems for People". In the first one, "Forgive and Forget," I aimed to write in a somewhat ambiguous manner in order to make it meaningful for a large audience, because the story I sought to convey is applicable to so many groups. The second one is both about myself and a friend I used to have: Henry. He was very funny, so I hope this poem contains some humorous bits while still being poignant. Lastly, I gathered much pleasure from writing the third poem, as I love slightly nonsensical poetry. With the repeated questions I wish to portray a feeling of helplessness that is at last freed, vaguely referencing a certain place, hence the word "defect". I hope you enjoy!

To me, creativity means the ability to put one's beliefs, feelings, thoughts and self into a piece of writing, artwork, or music. Creativity is what makes us uniquely human, because it requires so much effort in refining one's skills--ultimately showing one's love for creativity itself.
