"Really?" is heavily inspired by guitarist Masayoshi Takanaka, to whom I strived to reiterate a similar background for my project. The song shows emotions of exasperation and sarcastic annoyance as an attempt to further expand on the emotional boundaries music can show. Having played every guitar, bass, keyboard, and saxophone part, I continued to seek out memorable samba and jazz fusion motifs to further convey the emotions I aimed to portray for this specific piece. With this song, I wish to inspire others to take on a type of expression that is unfamiliar to them. I had never attempted to create a song in this genre or using music software before, but it turned into a valuable lesson to find a way to express my creativity from a different perspective.

Creativity to me is being able to express emotions and a message in a way you can show others with different ways of living and perspective. Creativity is what defines people, as every form is unique in its own way.
