• Artist Statement

  After creating a coming-of-age drama (𝘈𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘺𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴, 2025), I wanted to expand my filmmaking skills. Living in the Bay, it seems impossible to escape the push of seemingly sentient AI. So, I figured making a horror short about it would be something I'd love to do. The news clips at the end of 𝘙𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭 are real and recent; while the killer-robot story may seem like a trope to many, it has never been more relevant and is due for further reinvention.

• Creative Statement

  Creativity is that moment where your brain riffs, and you can't stop going back to an idea. You're not able to communicate this idea through a verbal explanation, and there's this odd drive that keeps pushing you to construct it into something bigger.
