• Artist Statement

  While I was on vacation in Scotland this past summer, I fell in love with the architecture and mood of the city of Edinburgh, despite my usual aversion to urban areas. My absolute favorite place in the city was the Scott Monument, with its gothic spire visible from most areas of the city, stark against the backdrop of Edinburgh's cloudy but bright skies.
