The moment after the words, "I fold." The context for the action is revealed once the cards are placed down, giving way to the bittersweet truth that the game is over. This photo was taken in winter of 2025 following the last game of cards I played with my brother before he left for college.

Creativity is humanness. I see creativity not as a means to an end, an inspiration to make a finished product, but rather the way in which we operate as people: to talk, to laugh, to love, to be anything at all, is to be creative(human). Humanness is to be kind.
