• Artist Statement

  I grew up caring for many kinds of fish, especially goldfish and koi. A childhood dream of mine was to have a koi pond one day--something I'm grateful to have now. I've always felt a special connection to me, especially in the way they swim towards me when I call their "name" and when they recognize me during feeding. This digital art piece reflects the bond that I share with my koi and captures a special moment of my day--feeding time.

• Creative Statement

  Creativity is about perspective, not perfection. A blank canvas becomes the space for my ideas to take shape. To me, creativity means exploring, questioning, and expressing the thoughts and experiences that matter to me.
