I was on my first ever trip to Hong Kong, a place I had known of through my family’s stories, when I took this picture. When I got on the cable car, all I could think about was how peaceful it was. As we rose higher up into the mist, it felt strange to me to see a place I had never been to and yet was always connected to. When I took this photo, I wanted to capture everything about that moment I felt up in the sky. The calmness of the water, the serene, mysterious mist, and the new memories that came with all of it.
