This piece was rooted from my own childhood-a bit more than what I'd like to admit. The clock is constantly ticking, and as it does, our youth is constantly slip slip slipping away. "Real House" reflects upon the imaginary worlds we created as kids and what happens to it as we grow up. What happens to us as we grow up.

Creativity to me, means a way to fully express yourself. Spoken words often fall flat, and lead to feeling misunderstood. Writing allows me to articulate myself without censoring for conversation. Poetry doesn't need to make perfect sense to everyone--it wasn't written for them, it was by and for yourself.
