Still in the Rush

  • This photograph is inspired by a Thai GL show, particularly a scene where the two main characters reunite after thirteen years apart. I chose Union Square in San Francisco as the setting because its busy streets perfectly represent the fast paced life of the city. I incorporated the signature red bus to strengthen the movements and energy. Through the contrast between stillness and motion, I wanted to highlight human vitality—our ability to stay calm in the storm—and the determination to slow down, live authentically, and resist being swept away by social norms.

  • Creativity means imagination—it’s an indispensable tool for me to express my identities. It’s not about thinking realistically, but about doing, trying, and discovering without bound. Creativity means to make something new, to innovate, and to discover abilities you didn’t even know you had. It’s the freedom to be myself.
