This piece portrays a calm and introspective moment drawn out of this watercolor style. The character depicted in the piece, is shown in a side profile, with dark blue hair along with white highlights towards the top that are like water droplets trickling downwards, along with a calm and collected expression.The background is shown as an open blue sky with a large cloud giving the environment a peaceful and serene mood, almost dreamlike along with an airy feeling. The sand adds a bit of contrast in the composition while focusing on the character itself. For this piece I mainly used watercolor for the character and background. For further details I used ink pens to make the character pop out and used acrylic markers for the clouds and for the character as well. The Chinese characters on the right, "夏蓝“ meaning "summer blues," reinforces this piece's tranquil seasonal summer theme.

To me, creativity is test of one's ability to express their feelings or idea through visuals almost like projecting their thoughts on to an an art piece or anything in general. I like to draw what comes to mind or what I have interest in to express myself through visuals.
