This poem really expresses in general how it feels to be a woman and how much we are shamed in society even in the 21st century. As a young girl I used to always hear excuses for behavior of my male peers around me and as I got older I realized how much it affected my views on myself and on the world around me. I always see other women talking about how much society,the patriarchy, school, families, etc affected them and their mindsets. In this piece I channel the way women are talked about and how they respond and adapt to these harsh examples. Thank you.

Creativity is something that can't always be expressed by everyone. Creativity is words and thoughts put into new formats and pieces. Creativity is a way to express myself in ways rather than just saying it and expressing it blankly and adding art to it.
