My art collage represents how social media takes away the innocence and joy of childhood. Instead of playing outside or using their imagination, the children are depicted as focusing on things like likes, followers, screens and so on. The collage contrasts the bright, interactive elements of childhood with darker, more destructive images to show how social media is changing the way kids grow up. I hope this encourages you to pause and consider what we may be losing as technology becomes a bigger part of growing up.
