• Artist Statement

  My artistic creation was inspired by Bastet, the Greek goddess associated with cats and the home. As a cat lover, her image resonates deeply with me and my family. My cats have always been a source of emotional comfort for me, and even simply hugging them can lift my energy and confidence. In my artwork, I depict a goddess figure who is not fully human nor fully a cat, but something greater and more mysterious. Her presence, along with the cat beside her, creates a sense of power and energy. This piece reflects how people sometimes see only the surface of who you are—like a nickname—without understanding the deeper emotions you carry inside. Through this artwork, I try to express feelings that cannot easily be put into words, allowing viewers to interpret the goddess’s inner strength and hidden sadness in their own way.

  Creativity is a way of expressing myself and my art. This way of expression (painting and digital design) helps my artworks come to life and become much more compelling. It is a way of turning a part of me and my feelings, into something digital or on paper.
