• Artist Statement

  This design was made to invoke a feeling of power while still having small, delicate internal features. It is heavily inspired by the Native artwork of the Pacific Northwest region of the US and Canada. Time was a major restraint, as the tentacles required many more small details than originally thought. The squid's name is Squiggles.

• Creative Statement

  The ability to think outside the box to make or change something (whether art science, writing, etc). It progresses humanity forward through advancement and/or beauty.
