I initially made this piece because I wanted to try making a sequential, and tell a story in a few frames. I love coloring in grey-tones so I planed on making the main character and her world in black and white, but later decided decided that I wanted to put emphasis on the mirror. In order to make it stand out, I colored it, so against the rest of the piece it would pop.

To me, creativity means expressing yourself in a way that makes sense to you, whether art, writing, building, etc. It is you trying to communicate to an audience.
