• Artist Statement

  This artwork was based on my daily walks with my dogs and I wanted to encapsulate that feeling with this. I wanted to try drawing an art piece based on a still-life image I took, which consisted of a human mannequin and a cat/dog mannequin. This was my first artwork that I had to adjust for lighting and camera positioning to get the photo that I was looking for and allowed me to practice my technique in shading and proportions.
