• Artist Statement

  The "Gogh-ing Into Nature" art piece, was inspired by Vincent Van Gogh's "Sunflowers" and "Starry Night" oil pastel paintings. My painting was done by early March of this year for the Menlo-Atherton High School Art Show in May. In the painting, I wanted to include structure, meaning and recurring themes like nature, beauty, and tranquility. In this piece, I also wanted to grasp the beauty and essence of nature by combining Van Gogh's art pieces into one. Overall, this painting has a dreamy, and attractive outlook of what nature represents in my life.

• Creative Statement

  Creativity to me, is like a language. Whenever I draw, paint or do anything creative, I always communicate my emotions, feelings and thoughts on somethings. I love to create original and innovative art pieces that show my creativity and communicate my feelings all in one.
