The Murder of Studio Company's Boss

This script is an excerpt from a play I wrote about a jaded noir detective who expects a classic murder mystery when the head of a large company dies. He is bewildered when he finds that he has stepped into an office comedy. The play then becomes more and more comedy-like as the detective gradually warms up to the employees and their ridiculousness.

Creativity is what makes life interesting! Coming up with stories in my head is a fun break from responsibilities and gets me interested in the things around me to see how I can integrate them into my ideas. Sharing ideas with friends gets me interested in different topics and perspectives.
