I took this picture while with friends in San Francisco. What draws me most to the city is the combination of natural and architectural beauty. In this photo, I was looking out at the bay, and turned around to head back, when I saw this scene. I wanted to capture the way the buildings and pier work with the sky and water to create that feeling that I associate deeply with San Francisco. What strikes me most in this picture is how the lights look as if they are guiding you back to the city.
