• Artist Statement

  The Strange Forest is a fiction piece about an ordinary day that suddenly becomes mysterious and unfamiliar. I wanted to explore how a simple moment like walking to the store can turn into a journey that challenges someone’s sense of reality. In the story, the main character steps through a hidden door and enters a shifting world filled with strange sights and unanswered questions. This forest represents curiosity, fear, and the feeling of being pulled toward something bigger than yourself. My goal was to show how adventures often begin without warning, and facing the unknown can reveal more about who you are. The story mixes everyday details with surreal imagery to create the feeling of stepping into another dimension. Overall, this piece is about discovery, courage, and the mystery of choosing to follow a path even when you don’t know where it leads.
