• Artist Statement

  I always seek decisive moments to shoot when I'm walking with my camera and I believe this image is my successor in creating photos. I was walking around on a pier in San Luis Obispo when I saw a couple talking to each other and in the split second I saw it, I framed them together and caught the image. The beach is a nostalgic place for me and capturing the warmth and age in a photo embraces that nostalgia for me.
