Three Poems: Currency, Omnivores, Exoticism

These three poems, tied together by the theme of water - albeit in very different ways - are all commentary, and in some cases, criticism, of Western society, and they’re a testament to the clarity I’ve found in my opinions. I’ve come to realize how much the person I am cares about the environment, the class system in the USA, and especially human apathy (just recycle the bottle, dude, it’s not that hard.) I selected these three poems as a tribute to the work I’ve done across different genres of poetry; Currency is verse, Omnivores is dialogue-driven, and Exoticism has a specific rhyme scheme, unlike many of my recent poems.

Creativity in writing to me means the freedom to draft horrible, pointless writing in the process of creating pieces and having nobody criticize you, and also being able to experiment with various genres/styles.
