Words can be powerful in many different ways. A person’s words can either act as a sharp sword, and act as harm; or act as a shield, and defend. I used words to create two pieces, demonstrating the longing of wanting someone who you can’t have. The feeling of watching another get their happy ending while you want to be in it, but you're stuck waiting or being the side man.

Creativity is freedom to me; we can express ourselves in so many different ways. To be able to make artwork you are proud of and want to display. Creativity can take the shape of a pencil, brush, or paint. For me, I find that freedom with a pen and paper.
