• Artist Statement

  A beach scene from my childhood, using light and perspective to reflect on an unrecognized moment that foreshadows my future as an only child. Oil paints were used to challenge my usual approach with acrylic. The painting captures the gaze of my solitary figure towards a family of three playing in the ocean—a view that foreshadows my life. Light and perspective emphasize the contrast between the detailed, colorful present moment and the blurred future that I didn’t know would become my own.

• Creative Statement

  Creativity is my first language—the instinctive way I process and communicate what I see and understand. I can't separate it from curiosity, bridging my analytical and artistic sides. Creativity means translating wonder into something meaningful, whether through a childhood portrait or graphics that make complex information beautiful and accessible.
