Oil paints were used to challenge my usual approach with acrylic. The painting captures the gaze of my solitary figure towards a family of three playing in the ocean—a view that foreshadows my life. Light and perspective emphasize the contrast between the detailed, colorful present moment and the blurred future that I didn’t know would become my own.
