  I wrote this poem about my cultural dual identity between my Korean and American side, and how they never seemed to fit together--- like stepping fully into one meant dimming the other.

• Creative Statement

  Creativity is the raw space where nothing has to be sacrificed or softened down. It’s freedom, but it’s also honesty, a chance to tell the truth in a language only I could’ve written.
