This photo was taken at Medicine Lake, where my family has gone every summer for as long as I can remember. It captures my sister walking along the shore at sunset, just as she has since she was little. This was her first trip back in a few years, and seeing her there again filled me with nostalgia so I knew I had to capture the moment. The way the sunlight fell onto her created the dreamy feeling I wanted to show.

To me creativity means being yourself and coming up with your own ideas. It is great to get inspiration from other artists work, but you can't be creative if you copy exactly what they do. To be creative you must put your own original spin to make it truly yours.
