I wrote this piece to share the feeling of deep nostalgia from the soul with the world. It's true writing based on my own life and perceptions, allowing the reader to delve into my mind and see my life experiences put on a word document. My goal is for others to read my writing and have the ability to feel what I want them to remember: their own experiences that have shaped them to be the person they are today, just as I shared mine, and how important it is to look back at the life you have lived. It is often that people become so laser-focused on the future and the present, that they feel emptiness and forget to remember their past. Sometimes the cure to that empty, lonely feeling inside is to contemplate what you've done and how far you've come in life. That's my writing's goal. Thanks.
