Wisdom in Half-Light

I used a camera to take the portrait

When I was taking this photo in photo class, it made me remember my grandfather. My model’s weathered features and the texture of his hands, gave a sense of long lived experience and resilience that made me remember my grandfather. He was a jeweler in India, and my photo reminded me how he was so experienced and trustworthy. This photo also made me remember how he also used to dress like a gentleman. He carried his skill with pride with a lifetime of dedication and wisdom.

Creativity for you might be the ability to see the world differently than most people do—finding stories, emotions, or hidden details in everyday moments and capturing them through my lens. It’s not just about taking a picture; it’s about noticing something others might overlook and turning it into something meaningful.
