Originally created as an audition piece, this act has morphed and evolved as I’ve adapted it for various performances including shows with Circus Bella, The Flying Royals, and People’s Circus Theater. Over the course of a year, I’ve performed my act upwards of fifty times. During creation, I explored combining sequences learned through training with original tricks and transitions. As I became more comfortable with the choreography, I was able to enhance the routine with stylistic choices that mirror my personality as an artist. Longer renditions of this act include a ground acro-dance portion as well as a Spanish-Web section. Having a strong piece that I felt confident in allowed me to take my performance to several different venues around the Bay, and share my love for circus arts with as many people as possible.

Creativity means connection. In the creation process, I’m collaborating with coaches and peers by connecting over a shared passion for art. When taking an act to the stage, I connect with my audience. I strive to bring joy and inspire others with my performance, using circus arts as my medium.
