My poem is an accumulation of feelings and perspective on living in the U.S.A. as an immigrant. Despite coming from a country with similar culture, language, and values, isolation and conflict have been an ever present trial. My hope from this poem is to spread awareness on the experience of teen immigrants and how hidden our perspectives can be.

Creativity is when human influence is applied to the everyday world. When we get to input a bit of ourselves into the world around us, we get to be creative. When we get to take from the world around us and create something new and uniquely us. That is creativity.
