• Artist Statement

  My essay tells the story of a character whose memories are stolen by a shadowy figure inspired by Alzheimer’s, symbolizing the way the disease erases someone’s past and sense of self. I focused on vivid imagery and sensory details to show the fear and confusion of losing cherished memories. Each scene was imagined like a cinematic sequence to highlight both suspense and emotional impact. Through this story, I hope readers feel the fragility of memory and identity, and the struggle to hold onto the moments that make us who we are.

  To me, creativity is turning ideas and emotions into something new and meaningful. It’s about seeing the world differently, expressing myself, and connecting with others in unexpected ways.
