• Artist Statement

  This awkward self portrait represents the way I feel on the inside on some days. This face depicts the craziness and stressors of the world coming out in one awkward facial expression. There are times when we all scream on this inside, and this is how I envision myself looking when I do that. I used pencil and charcoal to shade my drawing and create deep shadows.

  Creativity is the freedom to express yourself through any medium that you choose and allowing other people to interpret your creativity in the way that it touches them.
