The song I chose is named "Bulletproof", originally by La Roux, however the arrangement I chose to perform is based on Melanie Martinez's (I do not support the actions of this artist). I was so inspired when I first heard this arrangement, as the relaxed guitar and building melody really made me feel like I am growing, like I am strong and confident. The lyrics of "Bulletproof" remind me to come back every time I am discouraged, that there will always be a next time. And so, I chose to sing this piece because I want to remind people that you can choose to keep going. That no matter what happens, there is always a chance for you to come back and be resilient!
