I created this piece during a difficult time in my life after experiencing two family losses. The box represents the emotions I kept to myself and the pressure of holding everything inside. The gears and enclosed form symbolize time moving forward while I felt stuck, like I was carrying a limit I was always close to reaching. This work reflects the feeling of being ready to break while trying to stay contained.

Creativity, to me, is expressing current emotions and struggles through art or physical forms. It allows me to release what I can’t always say with words and turn those feelings into something visible and real. Through creating, I find relief, understanding, and a sense of control.
