Through 'Start to a New Beginning', we illustrated our journey through high school and the many experiences that composed each year. Left to right, we focused on themes of uneasiness, discovery, stress, and confidence as the end paves our way towards a new goal, and a transition into the beginning of college and adulthood. We focused on different styles and mediums between each year to illustrate how each year is different from one another, and continuously build on each other until it forms a permanent identity, such as the properties of ink. We chose to collage pieces on one another to convey the idea that each growth and key memory is scattered through time, but comes together to collage into the idea of 'looking back' on our own unique experience with high school as seniors that are going to graduate. It's a piece of self-discovery and a culmination of memories.

Creativity is a method to illustrate complex ideas and structures that you can't put into words. It's a way to express myself when I can't convey the exact meaning of what I want to say. Creativity to me is a language that's unique yet universal.
