• Artist Statement

  "Close To You" explores our relationship with the ocean and the way the ever-present body of water dances with our own. Growing up in California, I so often forget how lucky we are live right alongside our ocean.

• Creative Statement

  My creativity is not the products I produce in isolation, but rather the specific ways I show up in the artwork. Whether it be dancing or painting, drawing or writing, the through-line of identity is what defines the creative experience.
