crouching tiger, it's my tiger

This diptych holds a lot of personal meaning: it encapsulates the two conditions I often find myself in. The first (left panel) is a state of self-sabotage and lack of confidence, where I feel the need to cover up and avoid eye contact with the outside world. Here, I speak down to myself, and my negativity becomes a tiger, drawing blood. On the other hand, the second panel depicts a state of tranquility where I am at peace with my tiger, which is no longer negativity, but self-worth. I stare straight into the camera, drawing strength from an inner well of confidence. I've learnt to live with my tiger.

Creativity is something I always strive for; I believe that just because I am an artist, it doesn't mean that creativity always comes easily. I see it as the key to individualism and self-expression; I'm always alert when it comes my way!
