I wanted to depict a discovery of oneself through my artwork. The exploration of trying to find who you are is difficult. There isn't just one path, but many, and to depict that I painted many stairways to different paths. The cloaked figure is meant to represent the you who hasn't been discovered yet. Overall, this painting was a representation of those who haven't been able to discover themselves yet.

To me, creativity means a way to express yourself and your ideas, what they mean to you. It's something anyone can do if they put their mind to it and is a beautiful way for people to connect with one another.
