Redd D.
Sculpey/Polymer clay, tinfoil, metal wires, two beads for eyes

I made this piece of artwork two years ago, and it was the first time I had experimented with making a dragon that was not western-based. The piece is primarily white with different shades of blues. I wanted to expand my horizons and dedicated 2 days to making this piece. This sculpture represents how I can be open-minded with my art and I proved to myself that I can always be more creative and fluid.

Creativity is like another language, it’s unique to each individual. I release my creative voice into the world through sculpting. This allows my ideas to flourish rather than be neatly sorted, and encourages change and fluidity. It represents the freedom of imperfection and pushes me to try new things.
