This piece is part of my AP Drawing Sustained Investigation portfolio. It was just as challenging as I wanted it to be, as the whole theme of it consists of life challenges. The painting techniques I used challenged my skills, and the color theory involved also challenged me. The theme is a reflection of how my person has always been challenged by society for not being able to fit in with any specific label. The white stains represent the successful ones, people who have achieved themselves and know who they are, whether they have a label or not. My goal in this painting is to show how I am thriving to be "featured" with those successful people, to also be known as someone who has found herself.

Creativity for me is the skill that every single person gets during their childhood that helps them express their feelings, their words, their struggles and their identity when words or actions are not enough help. They then find creative ways to show what they want to show, developing their creativity.
