Fifty-One Stories

Canvas Paper, Highlighters, Markers, Watercolor, Pencil

  • This collection of artist trading cards captures a series of miniature snapshots consisting of portraits, emotions, symbols, and moments of creative play. Using canvas paper with highlighters, markers, watercolor, and pencil, I built a collage throughout the first semester of a school year where each card explores a different mood or idea. Some pieces are bright and energetic, others softer or more introspective. Working at such a small scale creates spontaneity and experimentation. I turned every card into a tiny world of its own, layering highlighters, markers, watercolor, and pencil to create a mix of bold color pieces and delicate sketch work. When assembled together, these individual studies reveal a vibrant tapestry of color, character, and imagination. The collage celebrates the beauty of fragments. Each small piece carries its own story.

  • Creativity for me is the freedom to explore ideas, emotions, and possibilities without any limitation. I can take small moments of inspiration and make meaningful visual stories. Experimentation, mistakes, and discovery are my way to understand myself and the world around me. That is what creativity is to me.
