• Artist Statement

  This piece shows the Virgin Mary holding a cross and praying for us as she looks out at all the negative things happening in the world. Her tears show her compassion, and her presence represents a light within all the darkness we face. I wanted this artwork to remind people that even when the world feels heavy, she is praying, watching over us, and bringing hope.
