I made this painting in one sitting to cover up what was previously on the canvas. I made in unlike how I make most of my pieces, I made it without hesitation, and when I was done I didn't go back and scrutinize every detail. I left all of the many imperfections. It is a self portrait, representing how I see myself right now, imperfect but whole.

Creativity to me is chaos and movement- creating a space where I'm not scared to get dirty... it makes me feel strangely free. It makes me feel like I can be raw and honest. Creativity is trying to create the vision that your mind creates and experiencing trial and error.
