My piece reflects the nostalgic feelings one faces on the last day of summer before Senior year of high school. The still life depicts a pile of clutter that I felt was reflective of this stage of my life. The use of dull colors and a stagnant composition reflect the angst many feel about growing up.

Creativity is about expressing oneself in as many varying ways possible. The main point of creativity is learning; learning new things, learning what one likes, and learning why. For me, I find that creative expression has a lot of variety through visual art, different mediums have different connotations to me.
