I have always loved nature. Since I was five I would run a forest trail up and down until my legs got tired. Nature is where I escape too when I feel like the world is falling atop me. There I can bathe in the beauty it holds and sit, unworried. At a young age I found that people did not care nearly as much as I did. I started to realize that pollution, deforestation, overconsumption, and fossil fuels were hurting the world that I loved. I found it disgusting that people allowed this to happen. I wrote this piece to show people what our mother gave us. Things like food, health and a life to live. As artists we have the rare opportunity to speak about these things from all perspectives, so I try to live as someone who finds that nature is a right and not a relationship.

Creativity means to push the boundaries of what is known. It is a constant question in the back of people's minds that drives them to build an idea that can define everything or nothing at all. It is a tool that gives a reason to something without one.
